The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) is one of the sponsors for the Inaugural Business Night Relay organised by renowned sports events organiser, Michael Zoetmulder. This event is intended to draw the attention of businesses in the Metro to the North End Lake and Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium precinct (one of MBDA's mandate areas).
The first relay held on Wednesday, 27 July 2011 was great fun, a good way to exercise and provided great networking opportunities with the businesses in and around Nelson Mandela Bay that participated in the race.
The MBDA entered one walking and on running team for the first race. Both teams completed the race (although we won't say which position the teams came in).
The next race took place on Wednesday, 31 August 2011 at 18:00pm.
You can either participate by running or walking. The team entered for running will consist of 5 people, each completing a 1km lap, the team entered for walking will consist of 3 people also completing a 4km lap.
