The MBDA completed an R8.5 million multi‑purpose recreational park as part of the Schauderville/Korsten master plan.

This was developed through rigorous public participation. The community requested the park to create a safe space and promote sports in the community.

Features include seating areas, an urban gym, an amphitheatre, a children’s play area, and a climbing wall. The park is located near two schools. This project supported eight SMMEs with contracts worth over R2 million.
