Moore Dyke Sports Fields

The construction tender for the completion of the Moore Dyke Sports Precinct site was issued publicly in October 2025, calling for a principal contractor to finish the project. That process is currently in the objection period.
At present, approximately 80% of the works are complete.
The remaining 20% is anticipated to take the project to practical completion

The Moore Dyke Sports fields are over 60 years old.
The MBDA’s makeover of the precinct includes a new pavilion, improvements to the old clubhouse, renovation of the caretaker’s cottage, and the installation of soccer fields and a cricket field with practice nets.
Additions include floodlighting and an outdoor gym, multi-game court, service building, electrical substation and refuse room.
Municipal services such as a paved access road, parking, sewer and stormwater facilities are also included.
