The MBDA’s work at Telkom Park focused on making the area safe and secure.
A R5 million demolition cleared the Stadium and its surrounding buildings.
Masonry from the pavilion, chalets, and ablution facilities was removed, defective areas were repaired, and vegetation was cleared.
Other remaining structures and embankments were demolished, and all debris disposed of.
