The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) is launching the #MBDAConversations podcast which will air the 1st three episodes on YouTube and Podcast distribution program, Anchor and 3 local radio station at 09:00am (PE FM, Bay FM and Nkqubela FM) on the 14th ,17th and 21st of December respectively. The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA), an entity of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, joined forces with Social Partners in a 6-day anti- Gender Based Violence drive in Helenvale. The initiative was aimed at raising awareness and develop solutions towards ending GBV in Helenvale, and society in general.

In the South African sense, it has been taken further to include the enablement of looting from the state, rather than the championing of a particular economic philosophy.

100 interested artists (performing artists, visual artists, fashion designers, crafters) have to been accepted to the essential business branding workshop by the Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA). In an effort to assist artists during this difficult period caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the MBDA put out a call for interested artists to be part of the life-changing workshop.

The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA), an entity of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, collaborating with Social Partners in Helenvale would like to invite interest media representatives to attend and cover these community led initiatives aimed against Gender Based Violence.

In addition to strengthening the message against GBV over the 16 days, the Social Partners have dedicated six programmes over 6 days as key highlights of the campaign.
