The Helenvale Resource Centre was recently subjected to severe vandalism, resulting in a complete power outage, damaged electrical and security infrastructure, and compromised access control systems. This RFQ seeks to appoint a qualified service provider to restore, repair, and secure the facility to ensure the safety, functionality, and continuity of operations.
A COMPULSORY BRIEFING SESSION WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 03 DECEMBER 2025 AT 09:00 AT THE MBDA OFFICES, TRAMWAYS BUILDING, CNR LOWER VALLEY ROAD AND SOUTH UNION, CENTRAL, GQEBERHA, 6001, FOLLOWED BY A SITE VISIT (75A LEITH RD, HELENVALE, GQEBERHA, 6020). SERVCIE PROVIDERS MUST ATTEND BOTH IN ORDER FOR THEM TO TENDER. THE ONUS IS ON THE SERVICE PROVIDER TO ARRIVE ON TIME
FAILURE TO ATTEND BOTH THE PHYSICAL AS WELL AS THE SITE VISIT WILL DEEM YOUR BID NON-RESPONSIVE.
Service providers must ensure the following is adhered to:
1. All queries must be sent only in writing to formal.quotes@mbda.co.za, quoting the quote reference number.
2. All quotes must be submitted via email to formal.quotes@mbda.co.za
quoting the quote reference number.
SCM Listing Criteria and returnable document requirements:
1. Full CSD Report
2. Valid BBBEE certificate
3. Declaration for service of the state – MBD4
4. Municipal Billing clearance certificate or Municipal Statement of account or a lease agreement.
5. Certificate of Independent Bid Determination (MBD9)
6. Proof of banking details
