Science and Technology Centre
The Nelson Mandela Bay Science Centre calls for suitable service providers to provide quotation(s) for transportation (x30) and Catering services for (x32) participants per day. This call is made in preparation for the Beyond the Booth Makerspace Programme to be held at the NMB Science & Technology, from 24 January 2022 – 25 March 2022. The programme will comprise 36 days scattered throughout the three-month period
The scope of work will be as follows;
Transport:
- Transportation times are as follows: pick up at 14h00, drop off at 17h00
- Pick-up points:
- Limekhaya Senior Secondary School (4 Rosedale Drive [Maduna Road], Langa Location)
- Solid Foundation School (12 Stow Road, Cannon Hill, Uitenhage)
- John Walton Senior Secondary School (174 Rosedale Drive, Rosedale)
- VM Kwinana Senior Secondary School (Nomakhwezana Road, Kwanobuhle 2, Kwanobuhle)
- Paterson High School (50 Nicholas Rd, Schauderville, Gqeberha)
- Number of learners: 30 participants to be picked up for each day scheduled for the programme. Programme days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Catering:
Finger lunch requirements for each day:
- Fruit (x30)
- Juice (x30)
- Small bag of Chips (x30)
- Sandwich – Polony, cheese, lettuce, cucumber & tomato or Chicken mayo (x30)
- Juice and Sandwich (x2) – for facilitators
Delivery to be made at Science Centre. Corner of Upper Drostdy and Algoa Road.
