Employee Grow to Care workshops The MBDA has been working with the Care and Growth concepts for approximately 12 -14 months. We have trained our leadership of managers and supervisors on the Care and Growth model in 2020 and are now embarking on the Grow to Care component for staff. The MBDA wishes to empower 70 employees with the same insights as our leaders have been exposed too, by introducing them to and workshopping them on the Grow to Care model. Service providers that are Licensed with Schuitema are invited to submit a proposal for Grow to Care workshop for 70 employees, to be conducted over 5 days with 15 participants in each session. The MBDA will provide the training venue

The MBDA seeks to appoint a suitable certified driving school for driving lessons. 1. Detailed breakdown of total package offered must be submitted for Code 10 driving lessons which must include but not limited to: • Unlimited lesson . Learner is a first - time driver. • Hiring of vehicle cost • License fee • Issuing of learner’s certificate • Driver’s license booking • Issuing of License Card • Minimum number of lessons required and cost per subsequent lesson thereafter if required. • Registration at traffic department for drivers test of candidate. • Any other cost 2. Minimum requirements of the driving school to be submitted: • Registered driving instructor in the correct grading • Applicable Insurances • Roadworthy vehicle certificates • It is compulsory for all potential suppliers to be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and NMBM Database. The MBDA has been mandated by the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality as a transdisciplinary implementing agent for programmes, projects and events within its 6 mandated areas, which are to be aligned to the various plans of the NMBM. The Bayworld Programme, which includes the transformation of Telkom Park, Bayworld and the green lung of Happy Valley itself, is one such programme which is located within the PE CENTRAL/BAAKENS/HAPPY VALLEY mandate area. Bayworld Programme Project 1 – Upgrade of the Bayworld Museum Professional services for the development of a Business Case, Strategy and Capacity Building for developing a Virtual/Interactive Bayworld Museum. MBDA 05567 RFQ LIFTS

OPERATIONS
The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA), a municipal entity of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBMM) and acting as its development agent, hereby calls for interested parties to submit proposals for the provision of lift and escalator repairs and maintenance services for MBDA managed sites and in particular the following facilities: Campanile and Athenaeum lifts. The contract period shall be for a period of three (3) months and renewal for a further 3 months period at the sole discretion of the MBDA. The services shall Include: Lift repairs and maintenance services – Lifts at the Campanile (1) and Athenaeum Building (2) and any other MBDA managed sites. The Lifts are KONE lifts. Applicants should submit easily understood work maintenance schedules/program for each of the two lifts, including the parts that are to be serviced. The Lift Maintenance schedules/program shall contain a breakdown program of when major and minor services, inspections etc will be carried out. Maintenance Schedules/Program Maintenance in this instance shall be understood to mean maintenance and repairs of escalators and lifts in the respective facilities, whilst ensuring that they are kept and always remain in a safe and good running order as per the Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyance Regulations, consistently ensuring that the down time is limited to 72 hours except for exceptional cases.
