The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA), hereby calls upon respective Professional ECSA or similar registered and experienced Traffic/Transport Engineers/ Technologists to develop and conduct a Traffic Impact Study. Bidders are expected to produce a parking strategy that will provide better accessibility to the St Peters precinct without compromising movement of traffic and comfortability of the neighboring properties.

2. Valid BBBEE certificate
3. Declaration for service of the state – MBD4
4. Municipal Billing clearance certificate or Municipal Statement of account or a lease agreement.

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SKIP BINS AT MBDA SITES

Operations
The MBDA requires a suitably qualified service provider for the Supply, delivery and waste removal of rental open skip waste bins on an as-and-when required basis for the MBDA mandate sites/precincts and/or as determined by the MBDA Shareholder. The service provider will be responsible for leasing the bins to the MBDA and the disposal of its contents based on an implementation plan to be determined in consultation with the MBDA and/or its shareholder.

PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANTS CIVIL ENGINEER/ TECHNOLOGIST.

 

The MBDA requires a professional civil engineer/technologist to  design, document and implement the Barcelona Park rehabilitation in Helenvale. 

The Consulting service provider must be well versed with the environmental conditions of Helenvale
  • Must conduct a topographic survey in including the design of the following:
    • 5 aside soccer turf made of concrete including a netball court
    • Fence of the facility with 1.8m clear-view or similar with a concrete walkway
    • Retaining structure that can double as an amphi-theatre and,
    • Design concrete stand for play equipment with fall protection as per municipal standards,
    • Any other further recommendations that will transpire from public engagements.

Operation

The Mandela Bay Development Agency calls for a quotation in regards:

  1. Health and Safety Consultancy services for the preparation and submission of a Construction work Permit with the Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL).

PROFESSIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SERVICES

The MBDA requires services of an SACPCMP registered Health and Safety Consultant to:

  • Attend clarification meeting with MBDA’s representative.
  • Review the application and the supporting documentation to verify completeness, adequacy, and suitability for submission to DoEL.
  • Provide input and assurance after documentation review.
  • Submit Construction Work Permit to the Department of Employment and Labour.
  • Attend site progress and technical meetings, Inspections and conduct monthly H&S Audits.
  • Conduct monthly site monitoring inspections and reporting
  • Review the consolidated Health and Safety File and documentation
  • Conduct close out report.
